This was home away from home. The room is very spacious with loads of sunlight and ventilation. There is also AC to beat Mysore summer. There is huge open terrace in front of the room with a beautiful garden. The hosts are extremely courteous and willing to help, wherever required. The location is very close to the city and safe as it is behind JCE Engineering college. There are many good restaurants within 1 km like Bopy's, Ruchi, Pegs & Kegs etc. The restroom was clean with hot water from solar heater and as well as instant heater, if required. We shall keep coming back to this place whenever we visit Mysore. For this price, this felt like great value for money.

It’s the best experience we ever had with holiday rentals. Both place and hosts are amazing. Yamuna, her parents, and Arun are very friendly and helpful. I confirm all the positive reviews from other tourists. We came to Mysore during the Dasara festival. The city was overcrowded. But it looks like we were the only foreign guests in the whole city. Gitanjali place was very calm and relaxing, beautifully designed, with a lot of trees and flowers. Yamuna and Arun helped us to book taxis for most of our daily trips, and gave us advice on where to eat and what to see. For us as foreigners, it was very valuable.

It was an ideal location for exploring Yoga, cafes, and restaurants. It was also close to bus stops, making trips to the center very convenient. There were many nearby shops and even shopping malls and cinemas were not far away. It was very enjoyable to stay for a month. I loved sharing a kitchen and getting to meet all the other travelers (and mainly Yoga tourists) who came to stay: they made my stay most memorable. Golukam is also a great place to meet incredible people and to get involved in numerous daily activities!
