Bobby was a great host. Jack of All Trades and A One Men Army. He tried to accommodate all our request whilst doing many other things. He personally made us breakfast although i don't think they generally have the service as they did not have a menu. He asked us what we wanted and made some good food for us. He also tried to arrange an Auto driver to take us around and as it was last minute no one was available especially no one who could communicate in English and he decided to drive us around himself in his auto as we were strapped for time as we were only there for a day. He juggle between taking us and dropping us off at places of interest and checking in other guests at his property as it was fully booked when we were there. He would drop us off and we would call him once we were done and he would come and fetch us and drop us off at the next destination. He also spoke great English and was very knowledgable about the area. He also arranged transport to take us to the train station in the early hours of the morning.Thank you Bobby for everything. View of the Palace and overall city was great from terrace both at night and during the day time.

Shivika and her family are great hosts. They did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable (we had to leave early on the last day and they accepted to serve us an early breakfast). It's actually a guest house located out of the city, but they can arrange transportation for a cheap price. The house is beautiful and everything was great. We booked suites with a lake view and it was stunning.

We stayed for three days and where overwhelmed by the beauty of the place, the hospitality, the charme. The hotel feels like in the middle of a lake, yet you can reach the main sights of the city easily on foot. (The phtograph attached is the view from our room.) You find yourself in an elegantly, unconspicuously decorated room that contains all items a tourist might need. You will be received by Juti or his wife Lovely (who didn't have the chance to meet). They will explain what is there to look at in Udaipur, tell you exactly the prices, even make arrangements, everything in excellent English. All information we got turned out to be correct and precise. There is a housekeeper 24/7 who serves tea and fruit at any time. A had the right they really like to have guests from all over the world. We loved it.

The place was just what we expected based on the description and the comments of previous guests. It is indeed a bit remote and not so easy to find, but that's also part of its charm and something that makes it unique. The hosts were happy to help and explain to our driver how to reach the hotel. Our stay there was peaceful and calm because, I guess, that is also the vibe that both the location and the hosts exude. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great. That staff was always there when you needed them but never intrusive. Would heartily recommend it and would definitely like to return.
