Excellent location. We stayed in the guesthouse for a night. So quiet and so so beautiful. Watched the sunset over the water - out of this world feeling - magnificent! Didn't have a chance to have dinner since we got there late. The breakfast was very good. One of the best bread I had while in Iceland.

Modern and smells like new. Close to the main road. The stunning view. The only one cottage in Iceland that had a good enough size for us. The rest were too small. Good coffee machine like at home.

We stayed at the red house because of the little number of guest in this season, the place was very welcoming, a big family kitchen with all that you need, a friendly dog and beautiful horses just around the house. We loved our stay and will definitely come back for horse riding trip.

The staff were really friendly and very accommodating. The Guesthouse is situated in a fairly remote spot that has a nice hike (that we didn't do, but trust). It's also quite fun swapping trip stories with the other guests if you're into that. The communal space is big and there's pretty much room to do anything you want, short of acrobatics. The guesthouse is clean, views are lovely.

The location is really incredible. Rooms are located in the basement area of a cultural centre where they have occasional events and weddings (not during our stay!). Despite rooms being in the basement, there is plenty of light and fresh air with a beautiful view of the valley from two large windows that can be opened. Rooms are clean, warm and comfortable and there are two bathrooms available with windows and a nice comfortable shower and bath tub. The keepers let us use the rooms upstairs equipped with large tables and sofas where we could spend a very rainy afternoon.
