Stayed in a single room, which was surprisingly spacious and perfectly appointed. You get towels and even a robe in your room! Homely accommodation, comfortable, clean, with a great upstairs communal living area. Good location near the water, a short walk to the shoreline where I joined a handful of other lucky folks in my first ever (breathtaking) Aurora Borealis viewing. Little kitchenette setup in the downstairs entrance with coffee station and water dispenser was a nice touch, especially since friends staying elsewhere in Borgarnes complained of a sulphur-like smell/taste in their water.

We had such an amazing stay and felt truly welcome and appreciated! The staff were so sweet and we had some good chats together. It was a super breakfast, which I love was included, especially for that price, which was one of the lowest on Iceland. We also enjoyed the most beautiful sunset looking over the fields and mountains.

The roooms were nice, clean, and cozy. Kitchen facilities were well equipped. Also, a big plus was the hot tub that is available for all the guests. The aurora was visible directly from our room.

The location was stunning, the view from our house was breathtaking, and the property and facilities were perfect. The hot tub was super warm, enjoyable, and added to the whole experience. Being able to sit under the stars and take it all in, simply amazing! The kitchen was HUGE and perfect to cook in. It was a perfect place to spend Christmas. We loved our stay here and will definitely come back in the future!

Lina is a great host. She helped us out when we didn't know how we should continue our trip due to severe weather conditions. Her experience was super helpful. We ended up staying an extra night which we loved because her apartment is lovely and extremely clean. Everything looks brand new and the kitchen has everything you might need. We can highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back.
