We thourughly enjoyed our stay at La Casa Nel Parco Lecco. The property was beautifully renovated inside, with high quality details throughout, and had an incredibly well equipped shared modern kitchen. The large grounds are very picturesque and the host Elena was also most hospitable. Very highly recommended!

the apartment was the perfect location in lecco, 5-10minute walk to the lake as well as near all the restaurant/bars in the area. the rooms were big, very clean and welcomimg to the guests. the host was extremely helpful and accomodating making our stay very enjoyable, by far the best accommodation i have stayed in italy!

Montebello Lake is a total gem on Lake Como. Seriously, the views here are out of this world - you wake up, pull back the curtains, and boom, the lake's right there, looking all kinds of gorgeous with the mist floating over it like something out of a movie. It's super peaceful too, perfect if you're looking to chill and get away from the hustle. And let's talk about the swimming pool – it's awesome! It's like this cool, refreshing escape that's got the best seat in the house for lake views. The water's always sparkling clean, and there's plenty of space to lounge around and soak up the sun. Plus, the whole place is surrounded by nature, so you feel like you're in this little secluded paradise, with trees and greenery everywhere. It's pretty much the perfect spot to kick back and relax.

We had the nicest stay at Picobello. Our room was very spacious and impeccably designed, with a view of the mountains plus our own little balcony. Kaja, one of the hosts, welcomed us and gave us lots of useful tips on how to get around (they have even set up a corner by the entrance with some booklets and guidebooks). In the room we found complimentary sweets and infusions and while we didn't have a kitchen, we had everything else we could need for a meal: a mini fridge, plates, cutlery, cups and napkins. We also appreciated that they had left some umbrellas for the guests to borrow, as we got some rainy days. As for the location, while Mandello isn't exactly one of the most touristic spots, we actually liked it as a getaway from the hustle of other towns along the lake. It still remains perfectly comfortable to get around: you can take direct trains to Varenna, Bellano, Lecco and Milan, or a ferry to Bellagio or Lecco and from there to Tremezzo, Menaggio, Lenno and many more! Picobello itself is just a short walk from both the train and the ferry stations (about 10 min) and just 5 mins from the lake. There's also a number of restaurants close by, and we particularly liked the bakery on Via Alessandro Manzoni (I'd say don't leave without trying their pistacchio cannoli or the mushroom pizza, but really everything was superb and fairly priced.)
