The owner was very friendly. Every day she asked us for our plans and gave us tips and information about the place. The house is next to Matsumot Castle so it's perfect. She cleaned the house every day. There was enough space and the house has a lovely charme.

Located in a cute and tranquil neighborhood, walking distance to Matsumoto-cho. It is a fine and detail-oriented Japanese ryokan, I had a great stay here. The host/staff is wonderful! I would definitely re-visit Matsumoto and Hanare for a longer stay.

It was perfect. The owner of the place is American, so him and his Japanese wife speaks a very good English. They were very helpful to organize my trip. The beds were nice and comfy I highly recommend this place.

I loved my stay here! The owner Shotaro is a warm, kind and friendly human that makes the hostel feel like a homely place. I wish I could have stayed longer. The location is great , it's in a quiet area but very central to everything. Great kitchen and everything is clean and comfy
