We had an excellent 3 night stay here! It's a beautiful big traditional Japanese house with the host living in a separate house next door. There are 3 rooms in the house so there is the potential to be sharing with other guests. Toilets, shower rooms and kitchen are shared. Our room was huge with futons, a table, and sliding doors that opened up to a view of the garden. It was lovely to be able to hear the river rushing by right beside the house, and cool to stay in a quiet little neighborhood. The #29 bus is very easy to catch to and from Hiroshima station and it runs super frequently, so it wasn't a problem being slightly out from the city centre. We had a very relaxed and peaceful stay here and would definitely come back again. Thank you to our wonderful and friendly host Kengo!

Excellent atmosphere, the hosts were extremely welcoming despite our total lack of Japanese. We also arrived back to our room one particularly cold afternoon to find that the host had switched the heater on for us which was incredibly welcome on our cold bones.

Featuring free Wi-Fi throughout, a coin launderette and a shared-use kitchen, the entirely non-smoking J Hoppers Guesthouse is a 10-minute walk to the Atomic Bomb Dome.

The bunk beds were especially spacious. If you took the top bunk. The facilities were clean. The reception was extremely helpful. One of the places you'd want to visit in Hiroshima is Miyajima (Deer Island). If you didn't get the JR pass, you can buy a cheap day pass at the front. You can use it for both the ferry (Not the JR) and the rail cars. The lounge area is spacious and homey. Met some wonderful people here. The hostel is close to a railcar stop, and it's really close to the Peace Park.

The owner was really nice and friendly. The location was really good. When you leave the hotel, you just walk through a bazar, where you can find lots of goods and reach the atomic bomb dome. Great location

The ambience was amazing. The staff is very nice and helpful :) I liked a lot that we could leave our luggage before checking in and then they let us stay after checking-out before going to the station.
