Very convenient location and quiet, even with the common area near the dorms. Ventilation in the dorms was great, air was fresh.

Our hosts truly became friends by the time we left. Yasuo and his partner were so friendly and welcoming. If you don’t do anything else order your dinner and lunch from Yasuo. He’s a fantastic chef and will make you or your kids your favorite foods.

Owner gave us a nice little tour on the way to the actual hostel. It also came with a free ticket to the extremely nearby sento (public bathhouse). Beds were comfortable and room was spacious.

I loved the personal touches around the guesthouse and that they teach you how to make onigiri for breakfast! A great experience and super close to the train station and the mountain. You can start your trail and end up in the city. Highly recommend!

I’ve stayed in a lot of Japanese hostels and capsule hotels and this one was maybe the nicest I’ve ever been in. The bunks were really solid and very nicely built and the whole place was super clean.

Clean and centrally located. The host is super responsive. The beds were comfortable and the giant window was so beautiful. We didn’t want to leave.

Excellent staff! Fantastic English and super comfortable beds. We stayed in a 2 bedroom private room instead of the dorm, and it was clean, comfortable, and a well priced stay. Fantastic location about a 10 minute walk from the ocean and a lovely strip of shops right next door. Hands down, the best part of our stay was the owner! Super charismatic, fun, and extremely helpful. After adventuring in kobe he was always super attentive and keen on listening to us. Felt like staying with a friend!

The family who have owned and operated this place for many decades are very kind and welcoming. I received many offers of assistance before and especially after my medical procedures at a nearby hospital. Walk less than 5 minutes toward the coast to access the many food options at the mall and a scenic beach. Family Mart is a 5 minutes walk West.
