Convenient location to township with shops and restaurants and short scenic walk to gondola’s and ski lifts. Comfortable warm beds and good facilities. The Japanese breakfast was exceptional as well. There is a traditional onsen 1minute walk away. Friendly helpful staff with good English 😊 we will stay next time for sure 👍🏼

Staffs - The staffs managing the hotel made me feel at home with their friendliness and attention to details. They are also very knowledgeable about the places of interest around Nozawa Onsen. I've been in Japan for close to 3 weeks and this is the first place where I felt like coming back to home after a day of snowboarding. Breakfast made by them were sumptuous as well! I love chilling at the common area due to its cleanliness and tea/coffee is available anytime. Not a speck of dirt during my stay there( some kids dropped their cookies while eating but it was quickly cleaned up by the staffs). Location - Right next to 1 of the gondola. If your main objective is to snowboard or ski, this is the place for you. Although the main street is a bit of walk down the slope, well...you can't have the best of both world I guess which is fine by me. Facilities - As mentioned, the common area is one of the best aspect of this place. The shared toilet is cleaned and well equipped as well with heater installed(if you are that cold..)

The hostess was absolutely delightful, I really enjoyed chatting with her when I arrived. She brought me some delicious watermelon from the garden and a much needed coffee and gave me lots of great recommendations for what to do around Nozawaonsen. I was only staying for a night, but I couldn't have asked for a better host. She reminded me of my own grandmother! The room was very comfortable and clean, with lots of traditional charm, and the location was brilliant, very near many of the best onsen. I loved staying here!

I had an excellent skiing vacation at this homestay in Nozawa Onsen. From the moment I checked in, I could feel the meticulous service. The rooms are well - equipped, and the heating is sufficient, allowing me to rest comfortably after a day of skiing. The location of the homestay is perfect, being very close to both the ski resort and the hot spring, which makes getting around extremely convenient. Moreover, the homestay provides a considerate luggage storage service, allowing me to enjoy my skiing time without any burden. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to friends who come to ski in Nozawa Onsen. It offers high cost - effectiveness and an amazing experience!

Extremely close to the slopes and bus across to Nozawa. Miki, the host, is exceptionally lovely and helped us with all of our needs. The rooms are clean, with comfortable Japanese futons to sleep on. The heaters worked so well I had to turn them off after an hour or so. Wifi is fast and works well. I highly recommend breakfast and dinner!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming pension, run by an incredibly kind and hardworking couple. Despite the heavy snowstorm disrupting transportation, they went above and beyond to assist us, ensuring we reached our destination smoothly. Their generosity didn’t stop there—they even brought our skis to the bus station, making our departure hassle-free. The warmth and hospitality we experienced made our trip even more special.
