I would say that this was our favorite place of all in 14 days we travelling in Japan. It was like coming home. My sons agree. We needed 8 minutes of walk from train station. We were being late since we missed a train in Koyasan, but owners waited for us. They are really warm and friendly. We got really great advice for restaurants. Room was nice and comfortable and clean. There is a bath, not just shower and also a washing machine. To the center it is only a short walk. We book a place with breakfast option and I really recommend it! Cucumbers and tomatoes were grown by owners! And food was delicious! They are such a nice team!!!

The host Hiromi was so kind, the property was clean and welcoming, spacious and warm Perfect location, calm and quiet and minutes away from a shrine and morning market It is one group a night so we felt at home privacy wise Thank you so much we will definitely come again on our next trip

Definitely, being here was like being at home. We did the Hanamochi activity with local friends and other guest it was amazing. I had the best time in Takayama staying here. I would come back!

A lovely homely place with a sweet owner. You can choose between a little more modern lodging with the western rooms with their own bathroom or have the traditional tatami room with a futon. The toilet and bath are up to date. I loved sinking into the onsen.

    Lovely host. Was very welcoming and the rooms were very clean and felt traditional. They let us leave our bags there after we had checked out so we could explore Takayama more which was nice. Well located within a short walk from stores, the bus station and the nice areas with all the little shops.
