Such a great experience! Sam’s place is inviting and cozy, very clean and nicely organized. You basically have your own little living room while here which is such an additional value. You have coffee and tea whenever you need it, and she offers drinking water as well so you can minimize the plastic pollution on the island. You get two strong fans so we had no trouble sleeping at all. She truly makes you feel like home ❤️

The view. If you want to chill out and relax it's the best option to accomplish that looking at horizon and listening to the waves. Wonderful (wild) surrounding and local people. Experience of being on this island can be compared to different place on the earth. It is still Cambodia but better 🤯😁 The host it's one of the top we've ever met so far. He is ready to help you with almost everything and to be a great companion to talk and drink beer 😁

Loved this place in M'Pai bay. It is just off the pier when you take the ferry (either Buva Sea or GTVC ferry will take you there-we just bought our ticket at the autonomous pier in Sihanoukville and all of the tickets are USD$25 return) so you don't have to walk far at all. Owners are really cool as are the staff. Lots of places to eat very close by and only about a 5-10 minute walk to the beautiful M'pai bay beach (you can also swim right in front of the accommodation). Also has a private balcony facing the water that you can relax on. Really yum food at the restaurant and not too badly priced. Do note that this place only has fans (no aircon) so was hot but there are not many places with aircon on the island. The only thing we didn't love about this accommodation was that it was quite loud at night and early morning as the place is right on the corner of the main street in town so you can hear people walking and the tractors transporting goods from the pier. Also note there are no ATMs on the island so bring enough cash to ensure you can eat and do some of the day boat trips if you would like.

CORAL is set on the seafront in Koh Rong Sanloem, a few steps from M’Pai Bay Beach and 800 metres from M’Pai Bay Wild Beach. This guest house offers a bar. The guest house has family rooms.

I cannot fault this place. The rooms are clean, cosy and private with aircon and hot showers. They are basic but it’s everything you need. Once you leave your room, you’re basically on the beach, which is beautiful and relaxing. The coffee and mango shakes are delicious and always served with a smile. The family who runs this place are kind and helpful people.

Happiness Guesthouse is a recently renovated guest house in Koh Rong Sanloem, near M’Pai Bay Beach. This guest house provides a bar. Some units include a terrace and/or a patio.

Clean, very pretty, cosy. A lovely reception with a kind khmer woman. I highly recommand this place. Excellent service. I felt at home.

The family was very nice and helpful. The guesthouse is located only a minute away from the sea, and there's a small shop just downstairs. The room was nice, with a shared balcony area with other rooms. Very good vegetarian food available, curries and falafels for example. We stayed for 8 nights and would have stayed even longer, if we didn't have to go to to mainland to extend our visas. Very warmly recommended :)
