Friendly staff. Close to a few tourist spot. Room was clean and shower head pressure was the best compared to the other hotels that I stayed during my trip in South Korea. Breakfast was simple with a variety of fruits. There is also a convenient store nearby.

The hanok was absolutely stunning, staying there was an absolute dream. The facilities were amazing and the hot tub was great to use after a day of walking. Ella was amazing and is one of the kindest people I’ve met. She went above and beyond for us and also helped us rent hanboks. She also provided us with food for breakfast which was greatly appreciated and checked in on us every morning to see if we were doing well. The hospitality provided was unmatched to any place that I’ve stayed at previously. Thank you so much Ella😊

What a lovely guesthouse in the centre of Gyeongju! A stonethrow away from the tombes and in the restaurant and shopping area. Yet very quiet, could not hear a thing in the rooms. Good breakfast with fresh fruits! And very nice owner who seems to be an incredible dancer looking at the pictures

the hanok is AMAZING, really cool experience to do in Gyeongju! the owner and his wife are extra caring, they explained to me all I could do/see in the city and gave me a map with all the details. they also arranged for me taxi and breakfast even though I was leaving early in the morning. the place is super clean and comfortable, I really really recommend this stay, I wish I stayed more! the location is also great, just a few steps away from some of the main attractions and city center.

The most important things for a traveler are location and price, both of which are assets for Friend Guesthouse. Hosts are great and communicative, breakfast similar to what I was having in Korea, a nice addition was a pan where I could make some scrambled eggs. Bus stops for most important attractions in town are like 2 minutes walking from the hostel.

A lovely place in the centrum of all attractions, everything close in the walking dystans. Clean, comfortable room with private bathroom. Small kitchen for all guests with basic breakfast in the price. Very silent with beautiful garden and cosy space to relax. The property was so clean and beautiful! Everything was so nicely organised and decorated, and made everything feel very warm and homely. We had a short stay but were treated no differently, and the owner was so kind and provided amazing hospitality during our stay.     Cute and quiet guesthouse with a lovely host. Small but comfy room with good air con. Delicious breaky. The lady that owns the guesthouse is gorgeous, limited English but very helpful with what to see and do in the area including a map of the area. Location of guesthouse was perfect for sight seeing in Gyeongju. Walking distance to ask the major sights and from a bus stop to the Buddhist temple 30mins out of town. Those guesthouse deserves the great rating it has, would recommend.

    Clean modern home stay in traditional Hanok premises with all the tradition features but updated with all the mod cons you could wish for, excellent location in middle of Gyeongju Hanok village and within walking distance to all the main historical sites- host was super friendly, went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and calling taxis for us AND even walking us to the pick up point , and was always quick to respond to our message enquiries via WhatsApp Very highly recommended!

    Great location and lovely hosts ! We enjoyed our stay at Doran Doran Guesthouse. 5 minutes walking from main historic sites of Gyeongju. A huge free parking 150m behind the guesthouse. The breakfast was really good, with fresh fruits and eggs.
