Sarath and his wife Deepthi are the most delightful hosts. We had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home in the jungle. We had a steam massage (highly recommended) and Sarath took us for walks around his spice plantation. It’s a beautiful place to unwind and chill, and you are looked after so well. Deepthi’s cooking is amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect stay. Very attentive and nice staff. Breakfast and dinner were great and tasty. The morning walk was so enjoyable. The reading room had even a nice puzzle which we made. Nice swimming pool. We wished we could stay longer. The dogs are friendly too. Thank you very much! 😊

We have booked this place for our first night in Sri Lanka. The owner met us on arrival. As it was everything new to us, we had a good few questions and owner couldn't be more than helpful. He advised us on the places we can visit, where to exchange money etc. Communications been very clear. The house is located within working distance to the very busy town, but in the very quiet area, so we had a very good sleep 😁 If you are looking to visit Matale and looking to stay near by highly recommend to stay at this property 👍 This was a first time we saw the monkeys 🤣🤣

Absolutely perfect! My family of four recently stayed at Cottage 2010. The cottage was spotless upon arrival, and the cleanliness was impressive throughout. The ambience felt cozy and inviting, like a true home away from home, with thoughtful decor that enhanced the warmth of the space. The service was exceptional; the staff was attentive and made us feel welcome, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. We booked quite last minute and arrived in the evening, we were picked up and welcomed with a traditional Sri Lankan meal cooked by the amazing nana Nandi. The rooms are clean and the surroundings beautiful and quiet (apart from the beautiful nature sounds). Sudesh the owner is super helpful and tries to accommodate you in every need (from a Kandy tour, tuktuk service, or help by choosing a taxi driver, to a nice chat with a beer). The family has a lovingly warmth which makes you feel welcomed and at ease. We stayed here with our kids, but I would also recommend it to couples without. The fact that there are (almost) daily cooking classes makes it easy to meet people. To summarize: a recommendation from my heart! We will meet again <3
