Only 15 minutes driving to Ambuluwawa Tower, the closest guests house to the tower, the tower can be seen well from the home garden. Mosquitoes net, hot water in shower, air conditioner, fan, free drinking water that you can fill in your own bottles and You will get welcome drink - tea, great owner!:) Before getting there, better call or write the owner, let him know what time you will be there. This place is just perfect if you’re looking for a quiet gateway away from the city rush. The room was nice, the owner and the staff were amazing and very helpful, food was delicious and the view from the pool was out of this world! If we’ll be back in Kandy, we will definitely stay in the Grove again! Thanks for having us! :)

Lovely and peaceful homestay just outside Kandy. Perfect if you want to escape the crowds in Kandy and if you like to catch the train to Ella from Peradeniya station. The hosts are very kind and willing to help. They had cooked marvellous rice and curry for us. One of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The breakfast is also a delicious Sri Lankan treat. We stayed one night, but we would have loved to stay more. Highly recommend to stay a bit longer as the hosts also know a lot of non-touristic places to explore in the surroundings

We loved everything about this place! We were only sad we couldn't stay longer. Deer Hill is run by such a welcoming and kind family who were the highlight of our stay. They prepared an exceptional breakfast and dinner for us each day and saw to our every need. They even arranged a van for us to go to Pidarungala Rock and drove us there as a family! 🥹 The rooms and living area at Deer Hill are spacious and comfortable, and the view from the balcony was just lovely. The place is located in such a beautiful environment close to nature, without being too far from the city. It's perfect! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Kandy 🩵

This property has amazing views, so clean and beautiful. The best thing about this place though is the family, I will never forget how warm hearted they were and instantly felt like they cared for me. We chatted a lot, and we all ate together in the evenings, easily will be one of my most cherished memories in Sri Lanka. You have to stay here!! Kindest people ever.

    An absolute gem of a homestay. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the room and the bathroom — spotlessly clean, the bed — comfy, dinner and breakfast that the lady owner cooked for me — filling and tasty. What more is there to ask for?

    The owner were very helpfull, they picked us from the busstation for free. It's possible to get tasty local food (breakfast, lunch & dinner). It's possible to fly the drone from the rooftop or doing Yoga. We would recommend the homestay.
