From the moment we arrived, we were greeted not just as guests, but truly as friends. The warmth and hospitality of Sudesh’s family made this one of the most memorable stays of our trip. The food was absolutely delicious – all home-cooked meals prepared with love by the owner’s family, and every bite felt like a taste of authentic Sri Lankan home life. The guesthouse is located a little outside the busy town of Kandy, which turned out to be a big plus – peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, making it a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We left with full hearts (and stomachs!), and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine and heartwarming stay in Kandy!

Everything was great! :-) Very friendly and welcoming hosts with a beautiful guesthouse and a stunning view from your room. You can choose between different meals and also at which time you would like to eat which is great. The son offered me a ride when I wasn’t able to get a tuktuk 😊👍

Super beautiful view from the room/teracce, nice plants/garden on the terace. Very kind and nice owner and also whole his family - they prepared for us caffe/tea everyday. Clean room and bathroom. Kitchen with fridge, which we could use.

The hosts are very kind and attentive and the room is spacious and very clean! The view from the hotel is also very beautiful since it is up on a hill (keep that in mind if you are coming on foot with big luggage, if not, the walk up - via the viewpoint - is a nice one).

This was the perfect place to stay in Kandy. Up in the hills with a balcony area where I enjoyed my coffee while watching monkeys, birds and surrounding nature. Also a great night's sleep ok a comfy bed with no noise except the rain on the roof. Suraj, the host, is freindly and accommodating, never hesitating to attend or answer questions I had. The room had good WiFi that I used to work from and take Skype calls. And the bathroom had hot water to shower. I booked two night initially but stayed an extra two.

This is the best place we’ve stayed in all Sri Lanka … but what makes this place even more special is the manager “Yama”… he makes everyone feel like their home and the vibe is unbeatable …. I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. The owner has worked in the guest service world for many years and I was pleased with the attention to detail during my stay. The breakfast each morning was a little different so as not to have the same menu. The location at the top of the mountain offers a great view and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing and peaceful stay. It was a stay that I can honestly say I would like to see people here again when I visit Sri Lanka next time. I wish all the people working here be happy!

I had an amazing time here. The owners are so nice, they cooked me delicious food and took me on a tour of the whole Kandy!! They are so helpful and kind. The room was super clean and fresh, the Wi-Fi is super good and breakfast was 10/10!! I really recommend this place!
