The host and his family are exceptionally friendly, helpful and extremely hospitable. The location is perfect for anyone arriving from the airport heading inland, since it is close to the railroad (without being close enough to hear it). The town is the perfect place to acclimatise to Sri Lankan life and heat, and gives you a unique opportunity to explore village life off the beaten track. The rooms have everything you need and the breakfast is overwhelmingly delicious. All in all, we would recommend going here straight from the airport, rather crowded and noisy Colombo

One of our favourite places in Sri Lanka. On the road to Kandy lies a perfect little place with great facilities. The food is amazing (we also got some extra, fresh jackfruit during the afternoon), the staff is very friendly, the bed is great, shower lovely, the Wifi quick, communication swift, and it's affordable. Great accommodation near the airport, with a spacious and very clear room. The place is very new, being recently built or restored. The owner, Mr Chris, made it a question to be always at our disposal and ready to support with any queries. I can highly recommend this accommodation.
