After 10 days backpacking around Sri Lanka, Maritime Nest was the perfect place to relax for a few quiet days. The cabanas are newly built, well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The gardens and pool are delightful and the food at Panchi restaurant is excellent. The breakfasts, in particular, are delicious and plentiful. Most importantly we were made to feel very welcome and were looked after extremely well. Madura, his family and great team of staff were fabulous hosts. Madura made helpful suggestions for local sights and activities and was always responsive to our queries. We particularly enjoyed visiting the local Turtle Sanctuary, a mindful and ethical way to experience these amazing creatures. The beautiful almost deserted beach can be reached via a short track and, whilst the sea is too rough for swimming, there is a delightful rock pool nearby. Very highly recommended.​ Thank you to Madura and his team of staff - we wish you every success with your new business.

One of the best experiences in Sri lanka trip within 3 weeks. Amazing place, not only appartment but all Rekava. Definately one of the most underrated places in Sri lanka. If you are in doubts - you definately should go there. Peace, silence, nature, ocean, turtles, amazing people - this is Rekava. Lookout lodge is excelent accomodation - new house, all clean and comfy, perfect location near the beach and turtle watch center. Good restaurant nearby (reccomended by Chami). Excelent breakfast and peacefull conversations with owner. We felt like home there and all our wishes were fulfilled with smile. And - there is a pool now - we where the first users and it is great. Appriciated by our boys. Sorry that we booked just 2 nights there, would have liked to stay at least a couple more days. hospitality was great.only few steps to calm and quiet beach.it has huge balcony area surrounded by mango trees with mangoes.owner gave us some mongoes.room is super clean and big.breakfast was amaizing.highly recomended.

Seasound Cabana is the perfect place to stay, we did love to stay there, quiet beautiful location, very nice cabanas and very friendly stuff. I do recommend as well the very friendly and helpful Tuk Tuk driver Samantha that belongs to this place, he took us around for three days and did show may places, it was so much of a pleasure, the best place we stayed on our trip !

A fabulous place for people who are looking for relaxation. Cottages right on the beach. Beautiful views. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you want to take a break from the tourist hustle and bustle, this is the place for you. I sincerely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was lovely and decorated with little flowers all over upon arrival. Suranga was the best host we've had on our trip. He made delicious food and it was nice chatting with him. The hotel is located just 3 min walk from the beach. We definitely recommend staying here.

O, where to begin… the host was extraordinary kind and helpful. Welcomed us with all smiles and fresh juice. Traditional Sri Lanka breakfast was prepared daily. The host took us on a sea turtle excursion and taught us the meaning of real patience. We witnessed three sea turtles laying eggs. Unforgettable.
