the couple who runs this home stay was very nice and welcoming. the breakfast was very good and their cocking class was super nice - still the best curry we have had in Sri Lanka! they gave good recommendations and helped with our arrangements, giving us local prices. also very nice rooms and close to the main street of restaurants. we stayed three nights and would definitely stay here again!

The room was very nice and cozy, with a cute balcony and a very nice view into the family garden. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The free cooking class was also amazing. We learned so much about the traditional foods and culture in Sri Lanka. Wish we could’ve stayed here longer!

An incredible experience, the place is beautiful, surrounded by nature and really welcoming. The owner family is something indescribable: very kind, thoughtful, smiling and really helpful. Their cuisine is delicious and very varied, it was an experience that I recommend to everyone. We will definitely be back!

The environment of the hotel is very beautiful. The owner has a large orchard. In a corner of the orchard, there is a beautiful botanical garden, which was designed by the owner himself. We stayed in this botanical garden. You can imagine how beautiful it is! In addition, the hotel owner has a very polite son and a naughty and lovely daughter. We felt very happy playing with them.

The treehouse was small but cozy, from the balcony you have a beautiful view on the pidurangala rock. Beeing directly in the nature gives you a extraordinary feeling, especially in the night with all the sound from the nature around you. The host and his family are very very kind ans always concerned about our well-being. But the best thing about our stay was the food, which was really great. We got a delicious dinner which was one of our best foods in Sri Lanka. Don't miss the chance of this incredibly delicious experience

My wife and I have always prefer to stay in an urban and nature environment. Firstly, I would say that the owners Mr. Mahesh and his spouse Mdm. Chandi has delivered the true Sri Lankan hospitality, they provided personalised services and always suggest the best on what activity we can do around Sigiriya. They even prepared fantastic meals for us based on our taste buds. They have never been pushy and that's the best 👌. Besides that, we have experienced a bombastic self vegetation plantation around the hidden lake cottages, If you are lucky 😃 actually every day is a lucky day, you will hear peacocks, cows, elephants and migration of various bird with their chippig sound and many other living creatures. It's like only ONE Call away and they are there to assist, In fact, Mr Mahesh shuttled us to the main road in order for us to take the bus. Little did we know that travelling by bus was satisfying and this was suggested by the beautiful property owners. Everything was so 👉 on point whereby on our last day, we did feel like we were gonna miss this home. Myself and my wife will definitely introduce this soothing and calm cottage to all our family, friends and those who need suggestions 😊. The ladies of the house are so sweet and nice. Their food was amazing and they treat me so nicely and well. The room was very clean and comfortable. I actually extended my stay because it was really nice to be there.

    Great hospitality ,so reasonable and valuable experiences. I swam in near lake with host family.Locals wash their bodies and clothes there. so I also washed my body. Host took me the Rock to watch sunrise, it was so beautiful view ,on the way home fortunately I saw wild crocodile. After that I rode an elephant (5000LKR required). They served so delicious and local breakfast. He was the best host ever. If you stay here,your satisfaction with staying in Sigiriya will be greatly improved.

    I really loved staying at Pidurangala View Home Stay ♥️ the hosts are amazing, super kind and attentive and will help you to organize your schedule so you can make the most of tour time. Also, the location is incredible, it is a 10 min walk to the entrance to the Lion Rock and a 5min walk to the entrance of Pidurangala. Those walks are so scenic, you can spot monkeys, butterflies, peacocks, it is perfect. The food is so delicious, I totally recommend that you have dinner at this homestay, it is SO delicious 🙏🏻 Loved the hosts ♥️

    The location was fantastic to see both rocks, our lovely host even organised a 5am tuk tuk for us to view Pidarangula Rock for sunrise. The homestay is also walkable distance to a lovely restaurant called Nirwana. Breakfast was delicious and the view from the terrace of Lions Rock is unmatched. You are really in the middle of the jungle here!

    we really enjoyed the location of the homestay as it is located a bit outside of the main road/tourist area. Free drinking water is available and if you pre-order it, you can also eat lunch and dinner there. Jayanti's lovely dog Lora was very friendly towards us and Jayanti hereself is a great host (we didn't have the chance to book it but she also offers cooking classes)
