There is nothing to dislike about this place. The rooms are new, clean, cozy and they have AC. The bathrooms are large and sparly clean. The family that owns the place are very friendly and helpful. The food they prepare is delicious. The lobby offers a generous space to relax and work. You can even enjoy the sight of crocodiles swimming or sunbathing in the river from the terrace above. I can’t recommend this place enough! We have enjoyed it

The owner is a wonderful host - he advised what bus we should get to Tissa and welcomed us with coconuts. The accomodation was v clean & bed was comfortable. We did a safari through the guesthouse and were very happy with the guide/experience. The owner was also very helpful in dropping us to the bus stop when we were leaving. Highly recommend, 10/10 service.

The guesthouse is located just outside the village, at a quiet location between the ricefields. They are very friendly and helpful and have everything you need, comfortable and clean rooms, great Sri Lankan food, good wifi. They arrange very good safari’s and if you are solo traveller like me, if you want, they will get you a jeep to share with other travellers. It’s about 10-15 minutes walking to the nearest restaurant but if you do the full day safari I recommend to use their dinner, delicious Sri Lankan food including fruit and a dessert. Recommended this place!

Everything clean, good location to see the lake, the bat tree and having restaurants close by. Atmosphere calm, facing nature. Also easy to take public bus and go to other places. Hosts were very nice and allowed me to stay in the room past the checkout time due to my safari finishing late midday. It was also very lovely from them to prepare me the breakfast before leaving after safari because I didnt have it in the morning due to the early times of safari schedule.
