The place is just amazing, Sandeep was very kind and he did everything to make feel us like at home. We really liked that young guy like him started this modern project and it is important to support local people like him. The cabin was clean and spacious, the view from the cabin was the highlight! What an amazing stay! The cottage itself is brand new and very nicely equipped. The staff was beyond words kind and helpful. They are very responsive on WhatsApp and always near the cottage so easily reachable if you need something. They gave us advice on transport, on things to do, etc. The location itself is on quiet place in the woods so you will hear so many birds singing. It is also close to Safri to whom they organize an amazing tour with breakfast.

This place was one of my favourites in Sri Lanka! It is quite a lovely surprise! Calm area, very nice outdoor setting, the room was very spacious (as well as the bathroom!) So let's talk details: - The food: Amazing! home made food served on a banana leaf, accompanied by candle lights and the sounds of nature! - The Safari: Dimu provided us with the contact of a local who drives safari cars, and who was very nice company on my trip! He gave me a few pointers, and was very flexible with my requests. - The Massage: They also have a nearby masseuse who offers traditional Sri Lanki Ayurvedic massage in her home, with home made oils/creams.... Oh my God! It was so good, I did not want it to end! - The helpfulness: Dimu also arranged a taxi to my next destination, and made sure I was fully safe as I was travelling alone and it was quite late at night. He joined the trip to help me feel safe! Overall, totally worth it, you will really enjoy! !

It's exactly like the photos. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and the owners go out of their way to help you. We have been travelling through India and Sri Lanka for a few months and this is one of our favourite stays. We're always nervous about reading 10* reviews but do trust this one! Ps I'm gluten free and this was no problem. They even made a special picnic breakfast for me AND they offer safaris if needed.

Such a perfect place to stay when you want to visit Udawalawe national park! We highly recommend to arrange the private jeep tour to the park with the owner - the driver was so professional, spoke good English and made sure that we saw all the animals possible!! The place itself is magical - cosy little house with outdoor shower. Especially relaxing if you arrive from the busy Kandy city or south area. The house was very clean and comfortable. The owners were so warm and welcoming. And the food!!! They prepared us such a nice lunch when we arrived - very authentic and delicious Sri Lankan food. Also their dog was such a nice entertainment for our toddler 🙂

Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka! Beginning with a beautiful drive into the jungle like property and an incredibly friendly welcome by Irangan. The tent itself is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean and allows you to have the feeling of being outdoors while still having a complete bathroom. There are birds sounds, and little critters to complete the experience. I would recommend eating at the property as the rice and curry prepared by the family was some of the most delicious we have eaten, you can also try some of the lake fish. So very nice to be able to support someone with a dream and offering such a nice tourist experience.

Amazing place! Such a lovely host!! they organized everything we asked for (even transport from Ella to Udawalawe). and the safari with their guide was awesome. he knows a lot about the park and animals. highly recommend to do the Udawalawe safari with them. food was also excellent - not the typical egg + fruits breakfast you get everywhere but homemade Sri Lankan breakfast. dinner with curry buffet was very delicious we have nothing but great words for this place!
