We visited Horton Plains and were looking for a place that felt safe, peaceful, and like home — and Tea Sprig Villa Boralanda was the perfect find! This is one of the newest and safest villas in the area, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. We stayed for 2 nights, and what made this place even more special is that we were their very first guests — what an honor! 🙏 The family running the villa is super friendly, warm, and caring. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and made with so much love. The clean fresh air, hot water, and beautiful surroundings made us feel like we were in heaven. Seriously I cannot pick out any bad things about this homestay. The room is SO spacious and omg the bed is SUPER comfy! The homestay owner is the sweetest lady and the family took care of me so well. Fantastic breakfast, top quality laundry service(seriously better than the city center), great location. I know for a fact that most of the accommodations in the city center here in Ella can be pretty pricey unless you choose hostel, this is your best choice if you’re on a budget but also wanna have a private room and at the same time still want a good location to access the city center. I rented a scooter and from this homestay to city center it only took around 5 minutes. 100% would recommend to everyone I LOVE this homestay so much.

The owners were really nice, the view was amazing and the bed was soo comfortable. The breakfast was more than enough for 2 people and was delicious. I would highly recommend staying here!

The owner and his family are super. The room is exactly as shown in the pictures. Spacious, modern and super clean. Bed is very comfortable and morning is served on the balcony. Wifi is also great. It is on the main road but completely away for the noisy part of Ella. Located next to the paths that lead either to nine arch bridge or the little Adam’s peak. Would happily stay again and already recommended the place to others
