If your journey takes you to Banaue Homestay, you're in for a treat—mostly thanks to the incredible Beatriz. Honestly, we've rarely met someone with such an infectious energy on our travels! Beatriz didn’t just host us—she orchestrated an amazing itinerary for our four-day stay in Banaue and the surrounding area. Her cooking? Absolutely delicious, especially the curry dishes (we may or may not have considered smuggling some home). The room and bathroom were spotless, the beds wonderfully comfortable, but the real highlight? Her laughter—so contagious it could probably cure a bad mood in seconds. Beatriz, thank you once again for everything! Wishing you all the best—and never stop spreading that incredible joy!

For the price the Homestay is really great! Bambino was very helpful and friendly. The view from the Homestay is gorgeous too! Easy to organise tours from the Homestay and transport. Food available on site too. It’s not 5 star accommodation but for the price in this remote area it was amazing!

It's a simple room, but you have everything you need, it's clean and the view of the rice fields is just great! You can hear the sound of the river and the chirping of the birds, it's very relaxing. The food is very cheap, delicious and available directly at the accommodation, which is fantastic! We also had Denwill as a guide for tours through Banaue (rice terraces, waterfalls, museum etc.) He showed us everything in a very motivated way, was helpful, introduced us to locals, took us to a market and went out for a meal. Such a wonderful experience! We can only recommend it here ☺️

A very basic place as you would expect in a place like Batad but has all the amenities needed, including food, comfy bed and even a rooftop which is a nice place to read after a morning hike around the rice terraces. The family that runs the guesthouse is super friendly and very responsive to messages. There is no wifi, but you can buy a wifi package very cheaply if you really need it during your visit.

Absolutely stunning view, great food and the first warm shower after 3 weeks stay at Philippines. A great remote area with an adventurous hike if you arrive at night. Very warm, welcoming and caring hosts. Small site advise: Bring enough cash, there is no ATM available in this lovely village.

Staying here was an amazing experience. Tani picked us up from the bus stop and he and his family are super friendly. We did a guided trek with Tani which was really fun, Tani knows a lot and loves to talk. He was also super helpful with organising our transport back to Manila, would definitely stay here again.

The owners were brilliant so welcoming and they arranged someone to get us and take us back to the bus station and we arrived at 5 am and they were up to greet us and let us check in very early which was so kind, they had a tour guide organised to recommend us trips for our stay which we booked and he was brilliant so helpful and we had 2 amazing days here, the place is clean, comfy and the restaurant serves delicious food which we had everyday, to make it even better the views from the balcony areas were incredible and we got to enjoy a stunning sunrise, we would definitely recommend staying here!

We loved the great views, the room is simple but functionnal and clean! Rita’s family is really nice and welcoming and Germaine is always here to help with a smile. The food is also good. It is a really nice value for money.
