Amazing place, building with history, clean, garden, the very center of Ponta Delgada, parking / paid in front of the entrance /. But the best part is the service! All 3 ladies we had contact with were so incredibly nice and helpful. Thanks to him, the stay was amazing. The breakfast / cheese, fruit is also delicious.

Nivalda was really the perfect host! She was Amazing in giving advices on the island and very enthustiastic about her country. The breakfast was the best! Nivalda provides something new everyday, homemade cakes and bread and her mother marmelade (great). For sure we Will be back in ponta Delgada and we Will stay here again.

We stayed for 10 nights. First of all, the host is great. She was super organised, answered promptly and provided us with all the instructions. We didn't expect the breakfast to be included in the price but it was and it was a very nice breakfast. We were even provided with a breakfast box on the morning of our return flight as it was an early flight. All the staff were very pleasant and the place was clean. A real benefit for us was the shared kitchen as we were able to cook for ourselves. Everything you need is provided in the kitchen. The room was small but comfortable. We also had a big balcony which was great. The bathroom was good size with all the toiletries provided. The water in the shower is very hot with good pressure. The staff cleaned the room and changed the towels upon request. They also provide towels specifically for bathing in the public pools, e.g. in the hot springs on the island, which is very nice of them. There is parking outside so we had no problem parking our car. The neighbourhood is nice. The guest house is conveniently located, about a 10-15 min walk from the town centre and close to the major road leading to all destinations. It was a convenient base for us to explore the island every day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

excellent hotel to stay in Ponta Delgada, 10/10! to begin with the wonderful staff, who was so incredibly kind. the hotel is like a museum, very beautiful. the room is comfortable and well equipped. the location is central. I loved it from the beginning to the end.

    Fatima and Luis welcomed us like family. We were a bit hesitant at first since it was going to be a shared bathroom but we are glad we chose Terra Mar. Fatima and Luis are great hosts, they helped us to plan our trips in the best way possible and also gave us many suggestions. Our room was huge, we had plenty of space and the bathroom was always clean. We had our towels changed and in the room you also have a kettle and a fridge.

    Everything. Great hosts, lovely bedroom and bathroom. The location is amazing and so central. The effort they go to at Breaktfast is incredible and we can safely say we've not had a better start to the day anywhere. The advice and help with booking taxis was invaluable. We could not recommend this place highly enough.

    Double room with shared bathroom and shared kitchen in this homestay. The location is 5 min walk from Ponta Delgada downtown. Possibility to park the car in the street/nearby (if have one). The host is very friendly and helpful. Good Internet connection as a plus.
