Great location - an easy walk from the train station. The rooms is pleasant with a lovely view of the vineyards and a comfortable bed. Staff very accommodating and the food in the restaurant was excellent.

The facilities are located in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. A peaceful monastery is clung on top of a high hill in Slovenia, right across the border with Italy. From there you can admire on one side the cities and hundreds of km of coast, ending with the sea. On the other side the alps sit austere and majestic . Center Mir is perfectly clean, mint, staff was always communicating with clarity and speed. This has become my favourite place if I'll ever have to stop over night on that route.
