The house located in a quiet neighborhood. The room was very clean and homely. It also has a lovely garden. Far was very nice and attentive. We went for a Moshi town walk, arranged by Far based on our request. The restaurant recommended by Far was very good and cheap. Transportation service (Tuk tuk/airport shuttle) is also always available with a fair price. We even got invited by Far to a local bar for beer and shisha. That was fun. Will definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kiwavi. The food was great, the place was very beautiful and Simba was very kind and helped us a lot with our travel plans. It was easy to reschedule our stay just one day in advance and the best thing is the sweetest dog that's living there. Would definitely recommend staying here!

A family run operation, Mr Victor and his brother Beatus, and team are very friendly, approachable. Communications with Beatus on WhatsApp makes things so much easier. Most of all they have many years of professional experience running a safari business, organising Mt Kili treks, offering cultural tours, day trips from the home location. You are in very capable hands. Ensuring safety, enjoyable activities or a successful climb. Staying 2 nights and chatting with the team, i am impressed with the kindness, utmost level of dedication to make everything work. I only booked the 1 day Shira Plateau trek, it was immensely enjoyable and fun. Excellent guide Babu taking care of us. This trek is easy level, i would highly recommend it. The home is sort of up on a slope, offering vantage views. Rooms are basic, spacious and very comfortable, most with ensuite bathroom. The meals are excellent, great service from the family. A good place to recharge or recover. A new swimming pool is almost ready! Thank you Shimboni Meadows & Shimboni Safaris. you have a fantastic team! All the best!

Stayed here for one night with a late check out, before heading back home the following evening. Great place to stay if you need to be close to the airport. Catherine was an amazing host, very welcoming and warm and introduced me to her family, we also had some insightful conversations, which was a nice touch. Catherine’s home was spotlessly clean and beautiful, the bed was big and comfortable, very cozy space. There was a fan which was great. I was also pretty sick and Catherine has made me some lovely ginger tea with honey upon my request for my arrival which I will be eternally thankful for! I had a lovely stay at Catherine’s Home, Asante sana! :)

This homestay (a lovely family compound) was just amazing. Walter was a super host, whose hospitality was the warmest I had ever had from an accommodation. He showed me around downtown and arranged a coffee tour. He was keeping me company the whole day. Dinners at his place done by Rosie were very nice home cooking. Walter arranged the transfer for me to the airport. He also accompanied me to the place. I was speechless! Huge thanks to him and Rosie for making my stay the most enjoyable. If anyone looks for a perfect place to stay in Moshi, it is definitely this home feeling hidden gem.

Karibu Africa Home is a lovely homestay in the outskirts of Moshi. The place is located in a residentail area within walking distance (a bit of a walk, though) from the city center. There a re a few nice restaurant closeby. Our room was huge and pretty cosy. The bathroom was very basic. The breakfast was one of the best we got in Tanzania. Lovely coffee, eggs, pancakes, fresh fruits etc. In overall, the price-value was excellent.

We had an excellent stay at MKoani. Dee, our host was very welcoming and helpful at proposing activities and restaurants. The home stay was in a quiet neighbourhood a bit outside the hustle bustle of the town. There are several restaurants at walking distance in the neighbourhood. Special thanks to Muddy who drove us around to visit the waterfall, coffee village and the hot spring. He was very helpful around town as well. We also had our clothes washed for a very cheap price. Oh forgot to mention the yummy vegan breakfast Dee had us prepared.

My wife and I were very comfortable staying at Faraja homestay. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook as vegans. We were able to rent a motorbike and travel around the province. Everything was very clean and in working condition.
