The owner is very, very nice. We ate at the property, and the food was gerat, but for quite a bit more expensive than what you'd find elsewhere in Vietnam.

The property had the most stunning view and was located in a beautiful area. Our host was so kind, we had dinner and breakfast at the Homestay and it was delicious. He was also super helpful, booking us a boat trip and helping us with transport from Ba Be. Definitely recommend staying here!

Very friendly family. They helped with everything we needed. They provided an English speaking guide around the area. Different breakfast every morning. Very good dinners. Beautiful view of the lake from the terrace. Clean and tidy.

This homestay is run by a fantastic family who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. To make it even better, it is in a fantastic location. When we arrived, the bridge was out, and they came to meet us and helped us with our luggage, which was greatly appreciated. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The balcony had excellent views of the rice fields, mountains, jungle, and lake.. There is a communal area upstairs, and the view from there is even better. In the evenings the family cook fresh food which we ate on a table with other guests. The food was delicious, and it was a great way to meet other travellers and hear about their adventures and experiences in Vietnam and beyond. The homestay also offers breakfast. The homestay owns their own boat and kayak. We went on the 5-hour boat tour, which was lovely, and enjoyed kayaking out to the island. It is also possible to go fishing with the owner if there isn't a boat tour on the same day. We enjoyed a 10 mile hike through the jungle, which we booked through the homestay, one of the best walks we have done in Vietnam, but you must have some experience of trekking. We enjoyed waking straight out from the homestay along the road, which went around the lake. Two miles from the homestay, you'll find another village, and I enjoyed some pho here on two occasions. Thank you for a fantastic stay!!
