The property is nicely refurbished and the staff are helpful. There is a little coffee cart outside the motel which was great in the morning. The motel is opposite the lake for walks. There is also a Teppanyaki restaurant on site which seems popular with locals (we didn’t try)

Great host. Warm and kind

We loved the location and there was lots of space for a large family. We loved the jacuzzi and the view. The back deck was where we spent most of our time. It was easy to get to anywhere on Lake Macquarie with a car. Jeff was a great host and kept in contact the whole stay.

Clean, lovely hosts, great location

Such a scenic location! We were offered the garden suite, which is more comfy for the 3 of us. It has a good-sized sofa bed and a king-sized bed. Our suite looks out to a peaceful little garden. The kitchenette comes with everything we need for a good breakfast, which came presented in a lovely breakfast tray the day before.

We were upgraded to the Cottage on the water. The location is absolutely superb. Great to watch the sunrise over the lake and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee in the afternoon with an amazing view. (A pod coffee maker was in our room.) Our lovely hostess brought us a beautiful breakfast each morning. Our 2 night stay here exceeded our expectations. Thank you Narelle & Bill for sharing your small paradise with us. Note: when using Bookings.com you are actually booking a room in the main house, not the Cottage. Still a wonderful place to stay.

Bonus having not one but two electric Vehicle chargers on site. 7Kw chargers at that. I would strongly recommend including this service in your 'Facilities' list. Maybe listing your motel on Plugshare. The bible for EV owners. Also having Jimmy's outside providing good coffee to the guests an locals. We will spread the good news.
