Sidney to the East and up Island to Nanaimo. On our arrival we were greeted by a warm toasty fireplace going along with a selection of goodies to enjoy. There were also toiletries and other supplies we could use. Nothing was a problem for Robyn our host to help make our stay even more special. This was my friend and mine’s first holiday together and having Robyn’s house feel like home was a blessing. Robyn left us fresh eggs and strawberries in the fridge along with cute little notes telling us how much she enjoys hosting us for the eight days of our holiday. Robyn shared with us all her favourite spots to visit along with us enjoying a wine at her camp site at Island View Beach. Only a few minutes drive from our room, which is a must do while you are staying here. My friend and I enjoyed quite a few sunsets and sunrises at this beach which is filled with driftwood and many structures have been created out of the massive amount of driftwood on this beach. Robyn allowed us time to spend with the chickens in the back yard and even a bbq was available for our use. We enjoyed cooking our own meals in the small but adequate kitchen and the drip coffee maker was a delight. We enjoyed the closeness of The Butterfly Farm and Butchart Gardens. Our days were full of adventure, enjoying the drive coming back to our little home away from home each night. Robyn you are a real gem and offering us your home to share was a delightful experience and cannot wait to visit again. Highly recommended with value for money and a wonderful experience on Vancouver Island.

You can tell is was really thought out for comfort and relaxation. I was hoping for a mini-vacation on the island and staying here made the trip. It was a wintery, wet weekend but the space was cozy and comfortable and close to some great places to drink coffee, eat and just take-in the coast.
