We also appreciated having access to a washer and dryer in the basement, which was especially useful for a longer trip. The apartment itself was beautifully maintained and well-equipped with everything we needed, plus a few extra touches. The large windows offered lovely views, and the outdoor blinds were a great feature, completely blocking out light for sleeping in or for added privacy. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, though that’s to be expected in Switzerland. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area made it easy for us to prepare and enjoy meals together, which added to the cozy, home-like feel of the apartment.

Daniela is very sweet and helpful and is an amazing host. She stays in the apartment below and is available in case we need any help. She is available via phone and messages whenever we need. She showed us around the apartment and explained everything when we checked in. She was also kind enough to store our luggage after check out (our flight was later in the evening). She even carried our heavy luggage down the stairs and left it out for us to collect it near the main entrance to the apartment, which was very sweet of her. The apartment is very comfortable. There were sufficient vessels and dishes for basic cooking. There is a coffee machine with amazing coffee (The coffee pods were provided). There is also a toaster and microwave oven with grilling facility. The bed is very comfortable. The view from the apartment is gorgeous! The Interlaken guest card is provided after checking in and is valid for your length of stay. The usage of public transport within the Interlaken area is free of cost with this card. The nearest bus station is just 2 mins away and is named "fussweg spital". The Interlaken West train station is 10 minutes walk from the apartment or 2 stops away by bus. The apartment is very near to the hospital (Spital Interlaken). There is a side gate entrance which is closer to the apartment than the main entrance especially when you have heavy luggage.

The free bus pass that also doubles as a discount pass for certain activities on the Interlaken/Thun area is also a great touch and makes travel by bus all the easier and at no extra cost. When doing activities mention the card to save some money before paying for the activity such as visiting Thun Castle. There was also a fan included within the room which made up for not having control over air conditioning or an overhead fan. The owner who's phone number can be accessed via WhatsApp is also very kind and responsive. She was wonderful!

The Bärengraben is within 50 km of the guest house. The property is non-smoking and is set 26 km from Giessbachfälle. We had a lovely experience here. Getting to the hotel was very easy, and the self check-in process was simple and clear. Free parking right next to the building was super convenient. The room was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is perfect — only about 20 minutes from Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. Overall, a great stay and excellent value for money.

The Bärengraben is within 50 km of the guest house. The property is non-smoking and is situated 26 km from Giessbachfälle. Really good! They provided a lot for us 5 people, 4 beds and 1 sofa, one of which is wide and suitable for 2 people. The toilet is really clean. Additionally, there are free coffee, hot water, and microwave in the minus first floor. It’s just next to the Lake Thunersee, really good view! And they also provided free parking! This parking is just next to the hotel.
