The building has been constructed with attention to detail and a focus on reusing materials, rainwater is collected, local produce is cooked (by the wonderful Fernando) and from the moment you arrive, the warmth and friendliness of Victoria envelopes you. There were two families with young children staying when we were there and it was wonderful to see how relaxed they were as their kids pottered around the garden and petted the hotel dogs. This was a highlight of our 6 week trip in Chile and is highly recommended. Also, the breakfast is great!

This is really a wonderful place, super clean, cozy but with good common areas, amazing comfortable beds and warm at night. Safe location and easy to walk up the nearby hill right into the center of downtown Castro. It was always very quiet here, especially at night. A nice experience to stay in a palofito (stick house).

Casa Azul is located in the centre of Puerto Varas, only 7 minutes away from the main square, supermarkets, the beach and the Casino. There are 3 bus terminals close to the property, between 5 a 10 minutes walking. Absolutely TOP notch!!(I'd given 20 out of 10) My Casa Azul experience was incredibly awesome! It's a beautiful wooden house with so many cultural/historical details with peaceful ambiance. It's like a walking into a museum and place is spotless clean as well. Also I've met several wonderful fellow travelers around the globe and I'd definitely return again. Big thanks to Andrea and his brilliant staff and I miss you guys already. Cheers and all the best.
