These are not complaints about the location, these are standard circumstances you can expect in a Colombian household. Nothing wrong with that, just something to adjust to if you're not familiar. In fact, it is better than a lot of pricier rooms. I arrived at 5:00 in the morning and they were ready to welcome me, whereas in the majority of hotels you can't arrive before 15:00. Extremely friendly people.
