Elisa and her mother were wonderful hosts! Extremely friendly, have great local recommendations and made me feel welcome as part of the family straight away. The house is very peaceful and a great place to relax, with easy access to Playa Negra, several local bars and a short walk to the centre of Cahuita and Cahuita National Park. You can see numerous animals in the surroundings (I saw a little Capybara 🥹). Casa Aldirica is a fantastic place to stay and I would whole-heartedly recommend it! Pura Vida 😊

Apart from the tours and the clean room/house, especially the hospitality of Karin and Oscar Made our stay in Tortuguero so special. No where else in Costa Rica we have felt so welcomed! They came to pick us up from the boats, walked with us to the tours to make sure we found our way, and they were always availble to help us arrange things, or for just chitchat and a laugh.
