It was a perfect location in a beautiful old building with a bright breakfast dining area. The owner is so friendly and he sat us down with welcome beers and explained everything there was to do in the area. We took some of his advice and had a wonderful time. The breakfast was also plentiful and delicious and he gave us doggy bags to pack a lunch. We felt very well taken care of and really enjoyed our stay.

The location and the pension was very quiet and calm. Parking was excellent. Access to the autobahn was quick and easy. The hosts were excellent.

The balcony is great for evening dinner and would be in the warmer months for breakfast. Off road parking for our motorbike and we had everything we needed. It was also easy to find with our GPS. Wished we had stayed longer - maybe next time !

Fresh food selection for breakfast Slept very well and had 2 very enjoyable days in Rothenburg.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. Fantastic place. The owner is so warm while we checked in. Will definitely recommend this place
