Attractively situated in the Centro Histórico district of Quito, Hostal Atlantis is situated 1.3 km from Bolivar Theatre, 1.7 km from El Ejido Park and 1.3 km from Colonial Art Museum. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The property is 800 metres from Sucre Theatre, and within 1.4 km of the city centre. We stayed only a few ours overnight, before the early flight, but everything was OK. We appreciate the help from the owner, that he drived us to the airport at 4am(of course, extra charge).

Lovely little hostel with insane views over the mountains. The room was little but very comfy. The host and the lama are super nice. We got free water, tee, and coffee and had a good lunch and breagt breakfast. For 3 USD, we got a lunchbox with a sandwich, apple, banana, cookies, chocolate, and little sweets. Just great. The host even gave us 2 poles for the hike. There is also a luggage transfer for 20 USD to the final hostel in Quilotoa. Definitely recommend.

This is an amazing place to stay in Chugchilan. You will feel so welcomed by the family who owns the hostel - they are so kind and gracious and make you feel so comfortable and at home. The vegetarian meals were huge and delicious and there was banana bread available all day as well as coffee and tea. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was here. The cat Theresa is so friendly and the sweetest little boy lives here!!

Irma was super friendly and helpful! She put me in touch with an affordable guide to go to Chimborazo. The breakfast was amazing! The room was nice and the blankets were very soft and cozy. The living room/lounge was great. You could refill your water bottle in the kitchen. The shower, albeit shared, was luxurious, with hot water and you could control the temperature. Irma went out of her way to ensure I got my laundry washed in time before I left. She also connected me with a trusted cab driver.

They’re very responsive on WhatsApp. They have water downstairs, a communal kitchen (fridge, stovetop, microwave), a good breakfast (sometimes was choice of tortilla and eggs or sandwich with meat and cheese, another day was humitas with scrambled eggs). Rooms are comfortable with hot water and good water pressure, good WiFi. Location is excellent near the metro and a couple of blocks from centro histórico. There’s a supermarket a minute away and restaurants nearby. I stayed in 3 different places in Quito and this was head and shoulders above the other two so I ended up returning here.
