There were a lot of attention and care in all aspects, food quality and presentation, decoration and overall peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It felt we were in a world apart, where people care about you, they are attentive to you and your needs. Eric and Jo were fabulous hosts discreet and yet super efficient and caring. We loved the pain perdus, they were as good as my grandmother's ones. I have food allergies, they did not dismiss them on the contrary. It was the perfect long weekend, just what we all needed. Featuring a shared lounge and views of city, galerie jacqueline storme is a recently renovated guest house located in Lille, 700 metres from The Old Lille District. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. The guest house features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Galerie Jacqueline Storme is a wonderful place to stay. The proprietor is very helpful, kind, and personable; my room was extremely well designed, with lighting in all the right places (for working, for reading in bed), a spacious modern bathroom, a comfortable bed, and large windows that looked out onto the tiled rooftops nearby. The breakfast was really splendid: breads and cheeses, fruits and vegetables, gorgeous confiture, and if you want, cooked eggs (whichever way you like) and bacon. I loved staying here and if I return to Lille I will definitely try to stay here again. It is an easy walking distance to "old" Lille, and there are several buses within a few minutes' walk that go to the railway station.

Armelle was very welcoming and accommodating to my schedule. She was understanding of my poor French and we managed to get by. Place was clean and comfortable and she provided a drink and brioche included in the price. Great value for money and there was enough space on the road to park. Would stay again

Location- convenient to train stations- city life and great view! Enjoyable to sit and watch all the busy people! A treat!

The host kindly let me store my bike. The place was clean, cool and the room was very comfortable. I had the option of fresh croissants/pain au chocolat/ bread for the breakfast and there was a selection of teas/coffee etc upon my arrival. Highly recommended.
