While the city centre of Ubud is bustling with tourists and scooters, this guest house is perfectly isolated yet close to everything. The garden next to the rooms is charming and was always a delight to step into. Coming to the host, and saying this as someone who has traveled to more than 30 countries now, I found their service exceptional. It’s probably not in the same sense as you would rate the service in a hotel, but what you would expect from friends or family. One such example of this was that we had mentioned mosquitoes, and every day we would come back after a day of traveling to see a perfectly made-up room with small flowers on the bed, but also that they had sprayed so that the room was free of mosquitoes before we arrived. They helped us with everything we needed, be it an umbrella, some bookings, or tea/coffee anytime. I’ll definitely go back to this place when I visit Ubud. The host and their family were a good way for us to get some real conversation and insight into life for people of Ubud, which you don’t get as honestly in your conversations with shops, restaurants, or tour guides.

At the homestay, all units include bed linen and towels. Everything was Amazing!! Rooms were gorgeous and the location unbelievable! Waking up to the sound of birds. It is a pretty quiet space, and the staff was sooooo helpful and friendly !!

Lovely staff (thanks Dewa and the others!), very helpful, great services The place is as per the pictures, clean, well maintained and calm. I disagree with some previous comments mentioning it's difficult to find. The location on Google map is correct and crystal clear. Just trust it. Some comments are referring to "aggressive" stray dogs on the street to reach the place. These are not related to Hanaka and, anyway, they are just making noise when you pass buy but are not aggressive. Nothing to worry about, just keep walking. There is an Indomaret almost next door as well as another small shop if you need quick supply

Because I stayed longer there and was there twice she sometimes even brought me breakfast and water even though it was not included. The rooms are big, nice and clean. The location is perfect. Wifi is good.

From warm welcoming and delicious cookie on arrival, to the check out and good bye cheese cake. All people working in there are absolutely the best I have ever met, super helpful, friendly and very professional. Breakfast in the morning and coffee was amazing too. Room much better than expected or seen on pictures, amazing shower, good condensation system in the shower, therefore no mold and no moisture in the room. Very clean area, staff was constantly around in case we needed anything. I have been to a very very expensive hotels in the past, but tut winten staff is better than worldwide 5 star hotels!
