And the Volcano House was just amazing, perfect, fantastic! Huge house (4 separate bedrooms, huge living room with the kitchen, private garden, private terrace, 2 bathrooms etc.), equipped with everything what's needed, very good wifi, private parking, in the center of Grindavik. It was really great and we didn't expected that! All that time communication with the owners was even more than perfect! Totally recommend that place!

Situated in Gardur, 48 km from Keilir Golf Club, Garður Apartments features a garden and views of the sea. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The guest house has family rooms. A very nice and cosy place, it's not very big but it's comfortable and the floor heating was keeping it nicely warm. We didn't meet with the hosts but the communication was fast and the check-in & check-out process was smooth. There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the address was easy to find, close to the airport and some nice tourist spots. We've chosen this location, as there was a higher possibility to observe the Northern Lights, even if the activity is low and surely enough, we managed to see them through the window. The Gardur Lighthouse is also within walking distance, which is also a good spot for Aurora, so it was quite convenient. Also, the beds were really soft and comfortable and we had a goodnight sleep.

When I broke the lock of the main door and locked myself out of my room the next morning, Hanna Maria and her husband were quick to help. They were kind and very generous hosts. Big recommendation!
