House is nice, with a very nice view. The facilities could be a bit better, maybe better kitchen utensils. Bathroom is very nice and big. It was a very windy night when we stayed and heard the wind blowing and hitting the house a lot, but you don't hear the noise from neighboring houses. Comfortable and quiet stay for 3 people a lot of space. You can park the car in front of door which makes life easy. The host let us know how to get in ourselves after check in time which was very handy. If you go close to reception the cute and excited dogs will meet with you which is lovely.

Our room have an attached courtyard to sit out in which would have been super cute if the weather and time had allowed. Showers were a great size and clean. Heated towel rack, radiators and hair dryer. Small mini fridge was handy. Restaurant food was ok and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. Best complimentary buffet we came across. Staff were friendly and accommodating and communication was excellent. I had messaged through booking site to reserve for dinner and the response was within minutes! Beds were comfortable and we had a great quiet sleep.

The hotel restaurant is very nice and had more than one vegetarian dish option (very rare in Iceland). The staff were very kind. We had a breakfast in the breakfast buffet, it was very nice with lots of options.
