Located in Patreksfjörður, in a historic building, 23 km from Pollurinn, Pálshús is a guest house with a garden and shared lounge. The facilities were good eg dishwasher, nice seating areas, dining area. There was a lovely balcony.

For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. simple but completely clean studio apartment with plenty of space for two people. It was warm and had a kitchen that was perfectly adequate to cook a meal. The bathroom was modern with a generously sized shower. There were two bathrobes as well as towels. It was quiet and with parking right outside. The house is up the hill from the harbour and it was a bit cold (snow everywhere) to walk to the hot pools on the shore so we took the car, but I would estimate a 10 min walk in summer.
