Great location only 10 mins walk from Petra. Bader was a great host and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed during my stay. Even made a lunch box for my days in Petra. Room was great also. Supermarket next door and plenty of restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend Plaza de Petra and would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

They only have a few rooms, so they treat each of their guests like family. I highly recommend the dinner and the lunch boxes. It's about the same price or cheaper than what you find on the streets, but it is so much more convenient and peaceful. It is a short 10-minute walk from the Petra visitor center. Remember to bring JOD. They don't accept credit card, but there is an ATM by the visitor center. We have two kids under 12 and they both ate free! We wanted to start Petra at 6 AM, so they prepared our lunch boxes for us the night before so they'd be waiting for us on our way. This really helped us beat the heat and the crowds. Our family was able to hike all the way to the Treasury and the monastery before it got hot. Pro tip: If you want the dinner (which you do) you should let them know at least a couple of hours before you want it.

Petra wooden house is an excellent option for a stay in Wadi Musa. The guest house is really comfortable, spacious, functional and clean, and so was our bedroom (we stayed at the recently renovated bedroom with bathroom). Mahmoud’s warm hospitality, guidance (including about the visit to Petra) and availability to help were really appreciated. The guest house has beautiful views to the town (and the family’s olive tree garden) and is conveniently located in a quiet road less than 5 min drive away from the Petra visitors center. The cherry on top was the delicious homemade dinner prepared by Mahmoud’s sister (favorite meal from our time in Jordan) which we enjoyed in the rooftop area.

I stayed another night since I had very good sleep its bed is comfortable and very quiet; I felt recharged at this cosy & clean place! :) the host family tries their BEST to help u feel home & safe, amazing mama’s cooking must try!! Good hot shower too. A very kind family will miss them & come back :) :)

Les repas proposés (petits déjeuners et dîners) sont excellents et généreux. C'est le meilleur logement que nous avons pu avoir lors de notre séjour en Jordanie.

Our stay at Friends of Dana Hotel was a truly special experience for anyone who loves nature and tranquility. The location is absolutely stunning, overlooking the Dana Biosphere Reserve — the view from the terrace is breathtaking, especially at sunset. The hotel is simple but clean and comfortable, offering all the basic essentials a traveler needs. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, prepared in a traditional local style, and the overall atmosphere felt warm and genuinely welcoming. The owners are kind and very helpful — they even organized a short hiking trip for us around the area, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit.

The family running the place is very friendly, both the father and son speak good English. The day we visited Petra early in the morning, they pre-prepared our breakfast for us. We also had dinner there one night, which was delicious, and we're invited many times for tea and snacks. Comfortable room, good value for money. Very close to Petra entrance, 2 minutes by car.
