Beds in the dorm were comfy and shower facilities were perfect. Probably my favourite part though was the people. Hosts Kimiko San and Suzuki San were very hospitable. They offered suggestions on the itinerary, as well as nearby onsens to try. My favourite part of the trip though was joining an English practice meetup at Picnikko, where I got to meet other Nikko locals. Everyone was very warm and welcoming and I had a lovely time:)

It was my first time in Kusatsu and I am really happy that I chose the Buna Hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean. I love its modern side while still keeping a very traditional Japanese atmosphere. The place is beautiful, very quiet, and the welcome was so polite. I will recommend this hotel to my friends in France, and I truly hope to come back to Kusatsu one day. Arigatō gozaimasu! 🙏✨
