What really stands out, is the 5-star service by the receptionists. Actually even better than 5 stars, as there's none of the condescending glances one might get at 5-star hotels. :-D I'm especially grateful for the extra help I got from the bilingual Japanese receptionist. Despite hostel-style accommodation, I slept very well and found the bed to be comfy. The place is easy to reach on foot from Magome-juku bus stop, even with a large suitcase, as there's a pavement all the way.

L’établissement 熱海温泉 実の別荘 vous accueille à Atami, à respectivement 1,6 km et 27 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Plage d’Atami et Gare de Hakone-Yumoto. Close to 来宮駅 Kinomiya Station just next to Atami. I could walk to Kinomiya shrine from the hotel. Nice view from the room seeing birds and squirrel and I could see the Hatsushima Island. It is very peaceful atmosphere around this area. The Hotel was clean and a nice big size. Private spring bath was great! There was a large window in the lounge room morning sun shine straight through. Owner of this hotel was very kind and helpful. I am very happy to find this Hotel.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. A few minutes walking from the train station and others touristic places, the location it's so convenient. The common spaces have many Ghibli stuff as decoration, so at some point you feel like you are in a friend's home. Staff are so kind and helpful when we need anything. Bunks has curtains so we have privacy at the dormitory. There is free coffee for everyone! This is the second time I get to Takayama and I loved it as the first time and the accommodation was outstanding for me.

L'hôte était adorable, la maison est pleine de charme, il y avait plein de petites attentions pour les clients. Je recommande chaudement!

We had a very spacious room, consisting of bedroom, little living room, patio and bathroom. All equipment modern, still very stylish Japanese. Very quiet, little private bamboo forest in front of the window.

Undoubtedly, this place was one of the best accommodations I have been. The place is spotless. Seiko is a Super Host. She was very helpful to my request. Getting out of the train station you can turn to the left and after crossing the railway it is a two-minutes walk, there is a mini supermarket just in front of the accommodation and a big supermarket 4 minutes up the main road. The Villa is so adorable, if you have time for a little stroll, you will enjoy it. I strongly recommend it.

L’établissement 長徳寺宿坊 Temple Hotel se trouve à Shingu, à respectivement 400 mètres et 700 mètres de ces lieux d’intérêt : Kamikura Shrine et Kumano Hayatama Taisha. Tout, le moine, le temple, le petit resto juste au coin.

L’établissement AJITO Hostel & CafeBar vous accueille à Shingu, à 2,9 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Plage Ōjigahama. Il comprend un service de prêt de vélos, un bar et un parking privé gratuit. Tout était parfait et conforme à la description. Nous avons pu emprunter des vélos pour se promener en ville. Nous avons passé deux magnifiques soirées au restaurant affilié. Les propriétaires étaient très accueillants. Nous y retournerions avec plaisir !

Very authentic Japanese guest house experience with a lovely host. We stayed 3 nights and it allowed us to really explore Ise, Toba and Futamino rocks. Our host lent us bicycles which was fun to go to the rocks. It was very near a supermarket and local good Isekaya for food.
