I loved immersing myself in their daily routines and witnessing their way of life up close. From being close with nature, exploring Angkor Wat, visiting local school, attending a Cambodian birthday party to visiting the silk farm, driving around, seeing crocodiles, and enjoying delicious local food, every moment was special. Choosing this place was the best decision, as the kindness and generosity of the people I met truly made my journey incredible. Waking up in a bungalow surrounded by rice fields to breathtaking sunrises and ending the day with stunning sunsets are memories that will stay with me forever. Thank you, Meta, and your wonderful family for sharing everything with me—I’ll definitely be back soon!

We rented out the entire villa (4 bedrooms/5 bathrooms), plus kitchen/dining/living areas. This was a ton of space - could have comfortably housed 14 people rather than our 8. Everything was quite clean, the beds were soft and comfortable, and the showers were warm (once we figured out the hot water heaters). The home is down a little dirt road halfway between two major streets. The neighborhood was walkable to the downtown area, or else you could take a $1.25 tuktuk ride, and it was also an easy walk to the local market each morning. The WiFi worked Anou, our hostess, was just outstanding. She welcomed us with delicious snacks and fruit, checked in on us every day, and was quick to provide everything we could possibly ask for - laundry service, a missing kitchen utensil, a case of hard-to-find Coke Zero, whatever. She escorted us to the market the first day to show us the ropes and make sure we understood what fair prices should be, and put us in contact with a little nonprofit around the corner where we volunteered doing some English practice with local university students. They don't do daily cleaning, but came to clean or bring fresh towels/sheets anytime we requested it.

L’établissement IKI IKI Guesthouse se trouve à Siem Reap, à respectivement 1,9 km et 7,8 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Centre commercial King's Road Angkor et Angkor Vat. Very clean, secure and comfortable room. Great price. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to downtown and night markets. A/C works great. Just off the main road. Laundry service was quick, cheap and good. Great value! I ended up staying an extra 2 days.

Situé à Siem Reap, l’établissement VILLA Siem Reap - eco & local propose un jardin, un salon commun, une terrasse et des hébergements réservés aux adultes. It's the perfect place. It's more of a private Airbnb than a hotel feeling. We had our own little kitchen, dining table and balcony. Everything is extremely clean and comfortable. And it feels very safe. The people running it are super nice. I honestly think this place is worth much more than the price they're asking for. I would especially recommend it to couples, families or friends. If you're travelling alone and like some quiet and peace then it's great for you too. If you're looking to be more social, maybe not. The place is a few streets outside of the center which in my opinion is perfect. You can take a passapp for a bit more than a dollar or have a nice stroll into town. You're already reaching the first restaurants etc in a few minutes walk. And there's a small local market just opposite of the place so you don't have to go far. If we ever need a hotel in Siem Reap again or have friends visiting, we will 100% book this place. Good luck to the owners for the future!
