With quiet street views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. We booked the whole property for our family of 6, with 2 adults sharing the smaller room (which was quite small) and 2 adults and 2 teens sharing the much larger family room. It has a great location right in the middle of the Hanok Village, and it is easy to walk out to get snacks and meals right around the area. The larger room was quite large, with a kitchen, a large hot tub/jacuzzi, a Dyson hair dryer (which my teens appreciated), nice Aesop toiletries, and very comfortable beds. They provided welcome drinks in the refrigerator and nice slippers to use during the stay. Overall, incredible value for the money and a space with tons of character.

Jeonju
Located within 500 metres of Jeonju Hanok Village and 200 metres of Omokdae and Imokdae, Hanok Dream provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Jeonju. Featuring a garden, the guest house is close to several noted attractions, around 400 metres from Jeonju Hyanggyo Confucian School, 400 metres from Jeonju Crafts Exhibition Halls and 600 metres from Jeonju Fan Culture Center. Free WiFi, luggage storage space and a housekeeping service are provided. We stayed at Hanok Dream for two nights in late November. It was our first Hanok experience and the most memorable part of our 8-day trip in Korea! As other reviews have pointed out, the location is perfect and the owner is friendly. I can’t say enough great things about the owner, Mr. Choi. We learned that he is a retired banker. He is super organized, attentive, and helpful. After he knew that my wife is a K-drama fan, he immediately marked a few famous filming locations on the map. In addition, there was a water cooler in his office, and it helped a lot for us to get hot drinking water on cold days. His wife is also a friendly lady, and we tried to communicate via the translation apps! This kind of interactions with locals really enriched our experience. We had never slept on the floor before, but we were glad that we got used to it, with the help of extra pillows! I can’t find words to describe the wonder of lying on the heated floor and feeling the heat warming into my body through my back. I guess this is Koreans’ secret to stay healthy! Since we stayed for two nights, we had enough time to visit all the major attractions (and great restaurants and cafes!) without feeling rushed. I especially enjoyed walking around the old town late at night or early in the morning, when the day-trippers were gone and it seemed that you had Jeonju all to yourself! I strongly recommend Hanok Dream! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Choi! Note: Cash Only

Mua Guest House is a cozy house facing the river and the mountains in Namwon city. The house is very close to all the most important tourist attractions in the city but what makes it truly special are the people managing it. The owners are mom and daughter who manage the guest house in the most pleasant and enjoyable way. They are locals and can suggest the best places in the city for eating, visiting and more. I will definitely go back to Mua Guesthouse because it is comfortable affordable but mostly because I felt at home.
Great host, very helpful and kind. Room is very clean. If you are looking for a Hanok, I highly recommend this one.
A an extremely lovely host and very welcoming and helpful. A lovely quiet garden setting in a great location.
The room was cozy and everything was top notch clean. Check-in was fast and the breakfast was good as well. I got fruit, juice, a coffee as well as a toast with strawberry jam. It was in the middle of Hanok village and was great location. I had issues with paying with my creditcard everywhere in Jeonju and the host was so sweet and helped me out! Thank you so much. They were really lovely hosts. Don’t forget to bring lots of cash!
Lovely hanok homestay in an excellent location. The hosts were very kind and helpful, we felt very welcomed. We would recommend here to our friends and families.
Great location, lovely hosts, nice breakfast and comfy room. The perfect stay to explore the Jeonju hanok village.
Hanok Stay was a new experience for us both. Lovely host with great hospitality.
Amazing location. Great host.
Amazing place to stay. I would love to come back again. Comfy, cosy beds, great amenities and plenty of space in the dorm. The host was friendly and speaks English which is extremely helpful for people like me who can't speak Korean. I got lots of helpful information from the host, including help with buses and where to eat. The Namwon locals are very kind.
