Watching the sunset from our balcony each evening was truly delightful. The island is really quiet but has plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We hired bicycles at the guesthouse and visited 2 fabulous waterfalls and Don Khon's busier neighbour Don Det. The staff were always friendly and helpful and arranged our onwards journey right from our balcony! We loved our stay here and would love to return.

This was the best stay I’ve had while traveling down through Laos from Luang Prabang. Totally recommend it to everyone! Alex and Leymon are super friendly. they even helped arrange a ride to Don Det and were quick to reply to messages before I arrived. Especially, Leymon’s Asian food was amazing, honestly as good as what I’ve had in the actual countries. Can’t wait to try it again! Between meals we played cards, chatted, and hung out with their dogs and cats—such a chill vibe. The room was clean and comfy, with a soft bed, towels, and shampoo. The shower has an open ceiling, so you might notice it when it rains, but it didn’t bother me at all. Loved the whole experience!
