Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

But best of all is the kind and welcoming host Basheer who does everything to ensure you have a pleasant stay! He speaks very good English and can arrange different activities. He arranged surf classes for our teenage sons with experienced teachers at a good price who took them to the best surfing spots, lagoon safari, in-house cooking class and transport to our next destination. And the gentile tuktuk-driver Haroun was always there to take us where we needed! Thanks Basheer and Haroun for the nice time in Arugam Bay!
