L’établissement Lake House Home Stay se situe à 2 km du centre de Anurâdhapura. Il possède un jardin et une terrasse. La connexion Wi-Fi et le parking privé sont tous deux accessibles gratuitement. Nous avons séjourné deux nuits chez l’hôte. Il a le cœur sur la main et son objectif n’est pas de se remplir les poches, mais plutôt de nous faire découvrir comme ils se doit son environnement. Nous avons pu prendre le petit déjeuner le déjeuner et le dîner pour seulement trois euros par personne et par repas. L’hôte nous a réservé un tuk tuk local pour nous faire visiter les neuf points forts d’anuradhapura. Il nous a également organisé le Taxi de retour et nous a beaucoup informé de la culture sri lankaise et des coutumes locales. L’ambiance est très convivial, les repas sont excellents. il y a de quoi étendre son linge sur du fil,deux hamac dans le jardin. Si vous êtes chanceux, vous aurez sûrement la chance de voir les singes,dans leur environnement naturel dans le jardin. Vous pouvez également louer des vélos pour aller vous promener. Je recommande fortement ce logement, nous sommes triste de n’avoir put rester que 2 jours parmi vous!!

The stay at Corner Cottage was the highlight of our trip. This young couple is welcoming and energetic to create an exceptional yet homey experience for tourists. Make sure you request dinner! Amazing food and with a tuk tuk on site it was so convenient to get a ride to the bus and our own tour!

He personally arranged our pick-up from Negombo, coordinated the drive to Wilpattu, and took care of every detail of our stay. The following day, we enjoyed a full-day safari in Wilpattu National Park, which I highly recommend! We were lucky enough to spot sloth bears, leopards, and elephants—a truly unforgettable experience. Moni Farmhouse is brand new and beautifully designed. It felt like staying in a private suite surrounded by nature, offering peace, comfort, and total immersion in the wilderness. All our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—were freshly prepared and delicious. After our stay, Buddika also arranged our transfer to Anuradhapura, making everything seamless and stress-free. We are deeply grateful to Buddika for his warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. Thanks to him, our journey through Sri Lanka started in the best possible way. Highly recommended!

L’établissement Lake Wind se trouve à Habarana, à respectivement 13 km et 13 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Promontoire rocheux Pidurangala et Sigirîya. Super séjour dans cette maison d'hôte !! Le service est génial et l'emplacement est parfait pour visiter les sites des alentours (Polonarruwa, Ritigala, Sigiriya, Medirigiriya, Dambulla) ! En plus l'endroit est très agréable avec une superbe vue sur les rizières ! Le rapport qualité prix est top ! Je recommande vivement !

Our stay at Swan Lake Habarana was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Kalhara, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The property is surrounded by nature, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with great air conditioning and a lovely view of the garden. What really made this stay unforgettable was the hospitality. Kalhara and his wife are truly amazing people – always available, always smiling, and genuinely eager to help with anything. They even arranged a massage and a delicious homemade dinner for us, which we enjoyed under the stars. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, authentic Sri Lankan cuisine made with love. Every detail was taken care of, and we felt more like guests in a family home than in a hotel. We can’t thank our hosts enough for such a beautiful experience. If you’re visiting Habarana and Hurulu eco park, don’t miss the chance to stay here – it’s a hidden gem filled with warmth, kindness, and unforgettable memories.

The owner and his right hand Shiran who were just amazing and will say yes to everything you need! Amazing people! Got lemon juice and the most yummy sugar lemon roti for welcome drinks, they made us feel at home. The location was perfect, out of the hustle and bustle of the town and close enough to be close to all the attractions. Nice big room, comfy bed, hot water (hot /cold water in different pipes) but you can shower with only the hot. Clean and really just perfect. Stay here!

Our stay at Forest View Home Stay was absolutely perfect and one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. The room was spotless, the large bed was incredibly comfortable, there were no mosquitoes because of the large mosquito net, and the peaceful forest location offered a sense of tranquility we rarely find. What made Forest View Home Stay truly special was the host and their lovely family. They were so warm and welcoming, always going out of their way to help us. From arranging transportation to lending us sarongs for a temple visit, their thoughtfulness was unmatched. The home-cooked meals were authentic and delicious, making every dinner feel like a celebration. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful retreat surrounded by nature and hosted by some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, this is the place. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return in the future!
