The host is a very friendly and knowledgeable person, he has spent years driving tourists around so has good knowledge of what to do and what not to do, while being completely honest and not pushing anything on to you - which is very unique here. The breakfast was incredibly generous, luckily we fast from 4pm each day so we could fit it in by the morning. There was a large variety of food he kept bringing us so it certainly won't leave you wanting! The location is close to Galle so it makes access to the Fort quick and easy - which we loved. The breakfast in the morning was amazing, definitely the best we've had in Sri Lanka at our hotels. Big and delicious! The mosquito net in the room was very nice as well. The family running the guesthouse were also very lovely and helpful. I would absolutely recommend to stay here.

Restaurants with good food, drinks and lounges are at the beach within walking distance. But the best time is spent in the garden of the villa. The designers of the house have made an amazing job making sure everything fits together and feel spacious with an luxurious air. The hosts are soo sweet and helpful, they really make you feel at home. Breakfast is served in the garden and is alternating every day so you dont get bored and also get to try different classical lankese foods together with fresh fruits and tea. We will gladly stay here again and do recommend Villa Ema to all of our friends.
