After being away for 17 years, I decided to treat myself to a weekend back home, and this spot in La Gaulette was absolutely perfect. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, and exactly as shown in the photos. The view from the balcony overlooking the lagoon and Le Morne is simply breathtaking I spent hours just admiring the scenery. Communication with the owner was smooth and friendly, and I felt genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. It’s peaceful, authentic, and perfectly located if you want to explore the south or simply relax. I’ll definitely be coming back this stay reminded me why I missed Mauritius so much.

It was peaceful, quiet, and the perfect place to unwind. But what made our stay truly special were the hosts, Stephane and Diane. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with warmth and kindness, always ready to help and make us feel at home. Their care and attention to detail made us feel less like guests and more like family. We also absolutely loved their adorable dog, Fluffy, and their lovely son, Ruben, who brought even more joy to our experience.

Very well priced and the apartment is very spacious. Would recommend for sure!

We stayed in the upper corner apartment which has stunning views of Le Morne and the coast. The apartment has a big comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and is light and bright. The large terrace is superb and the rooftop barbecue terrace is wonderful too. The pool and pool area is spotless as is the rest of the property. The nearest beach is a ten minute drive but boat trips to the island with its beach can be organised from the end of the road. All in all perfect. We'd love to come back. My husband and I were very happy to stay. If you want to have a luxury experience then this place isn't the place to be for you. It is like a homestay, there's everything you need. The location is really good, the beach and restaurant are walking distance (within 7 min) The hosts are really friendly and helpful. Some reviews said the internet speed is low. But I could work smoothly(I didn't use video or voice call though) We didn't use kitchen for cooking. Gus stove with oven and pots are there. The washing machine isn't attached inside of your room, but it is outside for use. I am sure we will be back here if we come to Mauritius again !
