Room was well equipped - milk in fridge, coffee & tea, sugar, glasses & cups & utensils, on tray on cabinet, plates & bowls on cabinet shelves, purified water from special machine in kitchen, Bed was elegant & comfortable, linen was very nice, and furniture (wardrobes & dresser) were elegant & very adequate 2) balcony & garden/pool view 3) flat screened tv with Netflix opposite bed installed by host - was installed to brighten a rainy day! 4) closeness to beach & Supermarket, bus stops, 5) style of the villa 6) Christmas decorations 7) quiet 8) friendliness & attention of the hosts Stephane & Diane and their young son Ruben, & their pet dog Fluffy! 9) paintings by Maryse Hardy, mother of Stephane! & good artistic atmosphere (opportunity to enrich one’s musical culture- i was able to get a ticket to a hristmss Concert thanks to the hostess Diane who teaches music and is a professional singer) & Very relaxing cultural conversations about Mauritius with gourmet & artistic Chef Stephane! 10) good neighbourhood, good environment

Set in Le Morne, 6.9 km from Paradis Golf Club, Résidence au bout du Morne offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a garden. The property features mountain and garden views, and is less than 1 km from La Prairie Beach. The guest house has family rooms. I enjoyed my stay with beautiful view and felt like home. It is located near La Prairie beach, which is only few minutes walking distance away. The host responds quickly to your questions and is helpful. The breakfast is great, especially the local fruits are the best! The bed is super comfortable so after a long day of swimming at the beach or hiking Le Morne, you can easily relax.

This guest house has a rooftop pool, a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. Guests can use the hot tub and the solarium, or enjoy pool views. Property is really ace. Lovely building tucked away on a residential street, easy parking and walking distance to lots of local restaurants, supermarket. Nice pool and rooms are spacious and great. Most of all the host Mathieu is a really great guy and couldn’t have done more for us. Clear instructions, great local tips, flex around check in and out times - just first class. We spent a bunch of time in a big-brand 5* resort before this and honestly now wish we’d stayed only done a couple of nights there max and spent much more time here. Quarter of the price and better overall local experience. Thanks for everything Mat!

Boasting mountain views, Harmonie offers accommodation with water sports facilities, pool with a view and a garden, around 13 km from Paradis Golf Club. This beachfront property offers access to a patio and free private parking. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. When we first stumbled upon this accommodation, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Our hosts, Annick and Jean-Pierre, are the most thoughtful, gracious hosts (even when we called Annick for the pad key number which she had already sent us - twice!). They provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around the place. The spot is absolutely magic, with a view to die for overlooking not only the lagoon but also a UNESCO site mountain. It is just perfect! The place is compact and contains everything one needs. The bed is super comfortable, the outside shower is something one must not miss, and the quaint veranda overlooking the lagoon is excellent. I know I am repeating myself, but the location is just incredible - you literally hear the waves licking against the side of the room at night and wake up with a lagoon literally at your feet. Annick had excellent restaurant recommendations and for the overall area, and was of great help. Thanks Annick and Jean-Pierre for opening the doors of Harmonie to us. We had a wonderful weekend and will be back for sure (we will order some extra sun next time)

From the cleanliness of the property, spacious rooms, the great facilities, and the hospitality of the staff. This guest house has so much to offer. Great gym and spa facilities. Big swimming pool and a nice jacuzzi.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a year-round outdoor pool. My husband and I were very happy to stay. If you want to have a luxury experience then this place isn't the place to be for you. It is like a homestay, there's everything you need. The location is really good, the beach and restaurant are walking distance (within 7 min) The hosts are really friendly and helpful. Some reviews said the internet speed is low. But I could work smoothly(I didn't use video or voice call though) We didn't use kitchen for cooking. Gus stove with oven and pots are there. The washing machine isn't attached inside of your room, but it is outside for use. I am sure we will be back here if we come to Mauritius again !
